In the UK, approximately 55,000 women and 350 men receive a breast cancer diagnosis each year, making it the most common form of cancer among women. Richmond Capital proudly stands by the side of Littlelifts, an organisation on a mission to provide thoughtfully curated Gift Boxes to every breast cancer patient in the UK undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment.
Founded by Oa Hackett, Littlelifts delivers support and comfort through carefully selected items that help alleviate some of the side effects experienced during chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. We actively contribute by funding boxes distributed to their nine partnership hospitals across Suffolk, Essex, and Norfolk. Additionally, we support their Kindness Fund, which provides a welcomed box to individuals facing treatment across the UK. These little boxes offer support and understanding to those facing gruelling treatment during what can be a lonely and frightening time.
To date, Littlelifts has delivered an incredible 13,763 boxes to women and men in need. If you’d like to learn more, make a donation, get involved, or purchase a box for a friend or loved one, please:
By working with us, you help us to make a difference. Together, we can support those facing breast cancer with compassion, strength, and hope.
“As I listened to the list of side-effects I wasn’t sure I had the strength to deal with what was to come. My world had tilted on its axis and I felt scared. Until you’ve been in a deep dark hole you don’t realise you need some help, the Little Lifts Box made me feel that it was going to be possible. It is beautifully packed with quality items given at exactly the right time. It made me feel appreciated because someone knows what you are going through.” Jill
