It’s best to work with a Headhunter that has a deep understanding of your role, your industry and the search they are undertaking.
To better understand their experience and the opportunity we would recommend you ask them the following questions:
▪️ What is your recruiting focus / niche?
▪️ Is there a specific position you’re calling me about or are you just looking for someone of my qualifications?
▪️ How many candidates have you placed for this company?
▪️ What’s your relationship with the hiring manager?
▪️ How long has the position been open, and is it a new role or a replacement?
▪️ Do you typically offer advice or feedback before and after the interview?
▪️ What should I know about the position and company that’s not in the job description?
▪️ What’s the culture of the hiring company and the growth opportunities in the role?
▪️ When do they want someone to start?
▪️ What will the process look like and what are the timelines involved?
If you are looking to work with a Search Firm, please do get in touch to discuss further.
