✔️ If your Manager requires you to leave the premises immediately or go on garden leave, be prepared.
✔️ Rehearse so you are confident in what you will say.
✔️ Consider if you will tell your Manager what company you will be moving too.
✔️ Be prepared they might respond with a counter offer.
✔️ Keep your resignation confidential as your Manager will likely want to break the news to the team themselves.
✔️ Follow up with HR regarding your last day & any Exit interviews or processes to ensure these are completed.
✔️ Prepare thorough handover notes and leave on a positive note.
