- What are the longer term projects and goals for this position?
- What role and what autonomy will the individual have in setting direction, deadlines, priorities, projects, goals, etc.?
- What level of support does this position receive in terms of resourcing, funding, equipment, training and development, etc.?
- Who determines and approves the budget for this role and function?
- What are the expectations placed on this role as stated by senior management?
- What is the organisational structure above and below this role?
- Where can a person go who is successful in this role? Is there a clear succession plans for them and what expectations are there regarding time frame?
- What are some of the challenges currently facing the role?
- What are some of the company’s market/growth opportunities? Are there resources available to exploit these opportunities?
