A compelling opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager or Associate Director to join a leading independent property and construction consultancy in London. This role sits at the forefront of major commercial office and residential developments, with project values reaching up to £200m. You will play a pivotal role in shaping complex, high-profile schemes, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. The position offers significant responsibility, professional visibility and a clear pathway for continued progression within a highly respected consultancy environment.
What you’ll do
You will lead the delivery of large-scale commercial office and residential developments, managing projects from early feasibility and design through procurement, construction and final handover. Acting as the client’s representative, you will ensure that projects are delivered in line with agreed quality, cost and programme objectives.
You will coordinate and direct multi-disciplinary consultant teams, setting clear direction and maintaining accountability across all stages of delivery. A core element of the role will involve overseeing contract administration, change control and governance processes to mitigate risk and ensure best practice.
You will drive stakeholder engagement across clients, investors and end users, providing clear communication and strategic guidance throughout the development process. Regular reporting, financial updates and senior-level input will form a key part of your remit, alongside mentoring junior team members and contributing to the development of the wider project management function.

What you’ll need
- Proven experience delivering major commercial office and residential developments up to £200m
- Strong consultancy-side project management background with end-to-end delivery expertise
- In-depth knowledge of contract forms such as JCT, NEC or equivalent
- Confident leadership of consultant teams and senior stakeholder engagements
- Excellent communication, negotiation and decision-making skills
- Professional qualification (MRICS, MAPM or equivalent) preferred
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of development economics
- Track record of delivering complex London-based projects to time, cost and quality
- UK-based consultancy experience is essential
